Hochschule Bremerhaven
Storing of persistent pseudonymous identifiers Declaration of consent

The page accessed here is the Identity Provider (IdP) of Hochschule Bremerhaven . The IdP is used for secure login to services, so-called Service Providers (SP), which are available via the DFN-AAI. For this the IdP is connected to the user directory of the Hochschule Bremerhaven.

The authentication and authorization infrastructure DFN-AAI is managed by the DFN-Verein. It creates the necessary relationship of trust and the organizational and technical framework for the exchange of user information between institutions (IdP) and service providers (SP operators) in the DFN-AAI.

As part of the registration process, the IdP first performs an authentication of the users. This is usually done by entering the user ID and a password. Your credentials will always be verified on the IdP of Hochschule Bremerhaven. These credentials will not be transferred to an SP. Subsequently, the information required for use of the SP (so-called attributes) is transferred to the relevant SP. These may be, for example, the name, email address or group affiliation within the Hochschule Bremerhaven (student, employee, ...).

To implement the principle of data minimization, many SP instead of plain names only require SP-specific, persistent pseudonymous identifiers. In order to implement this, these identifiers are generated by the IdP during the registration process and stored permanently. By activating the checkbox under this text you consent to the storage of the related information by the IdP. In accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, Art. 7 DSGVO at any time your consent can be revoked by a statement to the operator of the IdP, sent by e-mail to zbrv@hs-bremerhaven.de. The revocation of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.
